HAVEN Nanga Collaboration

Vancouver-based brand HAVEN approached us to image and produce the campaign for their debut collaboration with Japanese mountaineering icon Nanga.

Following the Great Tohoku Earthquake of 2011, Chiharu & her partner Koichi moved to Japan's southernmost isle of Kyushu. There they found a fresh start in Itoshima, building a self-sustaining lifestyle in harmony with the rural countryside they now call home.

Now a huntress by trade, Chiharu & Koichi tend to the farmland where they do everything from growing their own rice to brewing their own sake. They are an inspiring example of living life on your own terms, and the perfect partners to showcase this special products durability and functionality in the outdoors.
